The Walking Dead...

The Walking dead is a graphic novel about zombies and I consider it to be a definitive work for the genre. Think Stephen King's The Stand with zombies in comic book form. If you want to know how bad the zombie apocalypse is going to be you should pop up some popcorn and settle in with this new classic. And yes that is a little kid fighting off the undead in what looks to be his final stand.

Everybody wants to hide from zombies at Costco

I think this is a question that sees down into the heart of a person, tells who they are really and weather they will survive. The question is "Where do you go when the zombie hoards come?" Now I have discussed this at length and many times with my friends and the consensus often times is Costco for the food, fuel and castle like impregnability. I've heard colleges and high schools and cabins in the woods and I am wondering what you all think about were you would go, why is it a good to go there. This segment will be ongoing as it is generally a hot topic of debate.

Some introductions are in order...

Welcome to The Infected blog, this is a place to gather, hang out, talk about zombies and plan the next Zombie Apocalypse. I am your moderator Lord Thunderfoot, Shortbus was originally supposed to be writing this introduction but he is currently under the influence of booze and epic sex(Email me for details). His incoherency has reached alarming proportions and Speidi therapy is underway(this is where I show him pictures of both Spencer and Heidi Pratt until he throws up, patent pending). The reason for this blogs existance; last year someone got a bunch of people to dress up like zombies and attack other people with airsoft rifles in the woods. IT WAS AWESOME! We had a blast, made the cover of the Willamette Week and were really looking forward to it this year when they cancelled. BOOOOO! Am I right?!? BOOOO! Screw that we're making our own. To that end, there is this blog to beg for volunteers and land and money so that once again the PDX zombie hoards can feast on braaaaains!

PS if anyone has pics from last year, we really want them.
